Past Construction Management Experience

Relevant Principal  Mark Colbeck ​ Vice President - Construction

Mr. Colbeck has over 30 years experience in the construction industry, including the position as Project Manager for over 2,600 condominium units, and began working with Mr. Armeneau (see Design & Development page) in 2004 as the Project Manager for the General Contractor building the first Masterpiece seniors' residence in Red Deer, Alberta. Mr. Colbeck joined Mr. Armeneau in 2005 to start an in-house construction management company at Masterpiece, and Mr. Colbeck became the Vice President of Construction for Masterpiece at this time. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Armeneau and Mr. Colbeck worked closely together on the design and development, through to the completion of construction, on four Masterpiece seniors' residences (Calgary, Alberta; two in Montreal, Quebec; and the second residence in Red Deer, Alberta). Mr. Colbeck was instrumental in Masterpiece's most rapid development phase from 2007 to 2009, with the development and construction of three separate seniors' residences from 2007 to 2009. The three seniors' residences in development and construction undertaken simultaneously, represented over 900,000 square feet , and over 760 units. Mr. Colbeck and Mr. Armeneau left Masterpiece in 2009 to form Altiveris Construction and began working together on the completion of a very large condominium project in Calgary, Alberta.
